- Partner with department leaders to understand and address HR needs and challenges
- Act as the primary HR point of contact for the Operations Department
- Provide guidance and support on employee relations, performance management, talent development, engagement & retention and other HR matters.
- Collaborate with HR colleagues to develop and implement HR strategies, policies, and programs that support business objectives
- Ensure compliance with local labor laws and regulations
- Handle recruitment and selection processes for Operations roles
- Implement effective recruiting strategies to attract blue collar candidates
- Build and maintain relationships with external recruitment agencies and other talent sources
- Analyze HR metrics to identify trends and make recommendations for continuous improvement
- Participate in HR projects and initiatives to enhance employee experience
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- Extensive experience in working with a diverse workforce, including both white-collar and blue-collar employees.
- 3-5 years of experience as an HR Business Partner in a similar industry
- Experience in employee relations, performance management, and talent development
- In-depth understanding of labor laws, regulations, and compliance requirements relevant to the industry.
- Previous experience in sectors with a significant blue-collar workforce, such as manufacturing, construction, or logistics
- Demonstrated expertise in managing employee relations issues, conflict resolution, and maintaining a positive work environment.
- Proven track record of successfully engaging with and addressing the unique needs of both white-collar and blue-collar workers.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to analyze complex HR issues and develop practical solutions that align with both company policies and the needs of the workforce.
- Proactive approach to identifying potential employee relations issues and implementing preventative measures
