As a Purchasing Specialist at Chefaa, you will play a crucial role in sourcing, negotiating, and maintaining relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective purchasing. You will collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify purchase requirements, conduct market research, and maintain accurate records of purchase transactions.   • Source and procure required products from warehouses based on organizational needs.
  • Ensure timely delivery of purchased items from the warehouses.
  • Maintain effective communication with warehouse staff to coordinate and track orders.
  • Conduct market research and perform price comparisons to identify cost-effective purchasing options.
  • Maintain a database of pricing information and vendor catalogs for reference.
  • Prepare and process purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify and confirm purchase requirements.
  • Identify and evaluate potential vendors and suppliers based on quality, reliability, and pricing.
  • Monitor vendor performance, including delivery reliability and product quality, and address any issues that arise.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of purchase transactions, POs, and other relevant documentation.
  • Assist in the preparation of reports, metrics, and analysis related to purchasing activities.
  • Collaborate with various departments such as finance, and business, to ensure alignment in procurement activities.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field, or an equivalent.
  • Minimum 1 to 3 years of relevant work experience.
  • Proven track record in the field of Purchasing.
  • Preference will be given to candidates with a background in the Pharmaceutical industry.
  • Proficiency in English (Good level).
  • Expertise in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Ability to effectively establish rapport and influence key stakeholders.
Working Setup
  • Work schedule: 6 working days per week with Fridays off
  • Morning shift: 9:00 pm to 5:00 am
  • Work Location: Chefaa Headquarters in Maddi
