DescriptionWe are urgently seeking an experienced and outstanding leader on behalf of our client in Cairo.This international school in Cairo opened in September 2021 and aims to provide an exceptional education for boys and girls aged 3 to 18; offering the EYFS and English National Curriculum, leading to IGCSEs and A Levels. By concentrating upon educating and developing the whole child, the school builds character, confidence, and social competence.The Head of EYFS (with teaching load) is responsible for all academic matters. She is responsible for ensuring the highest standards of teaching, learning and academic attainment across the school. The ideal candidate will have a track record of outstanding teaching, a thorough knowledge of the English National Curriculum and how this can be used to develop creative, innovative learners.An ideal candidate should have:**Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)**Undergraduate degree in related field plus appropriate post-graduate educational qualifications (teaching certificate, Master’s degree etc.)**Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in schools**Evidence of successfully leading and managing change, ideally at a strategic level**A good awareness of recent trends in curriculum content, aims, objectives and assessment**Outstanding time management, problem-solving and organisational skillsKey ares of responsibility:- Strategic development- Leadership- Curriculum- Staffing- Quality of Teaching- Pupil PerformanceThe school offers an excellent package will include: basic monthly salary which is tax free, return flight tickets, housing allowance; medical insurance within the country, relocation allowance, gratuity and 2 years contract which is renewable on mutual agreement.Cairo is a mixture of modern and historical city with diverse cultural people from different part of the world.
