- Ensure studying CR/BRS, Walkthrough, User Profile Sheet and all relevant documents and conduct the smoke testing for the testability of the solution.
- Ensure obtaining clarifications in requirements or the developed solution if any from the respective BA/developer.
- Ensure preparing the test scenarios and test data.
- Ensure inviting the business (Impacted-Users) for User acceptance testing and executing the prepared scenarios and updating the results with them.
- Ensure raising any contoured defects if any after completing each test cycle.
- Ensure obtaining the business signoff on the result if solution going to production.
- Ensure uploading Test Sheet in TFS before moving to next stage.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field from an accredited university with at least 2 years’ experience in a Quality Assurance or Testing position
- Thorough knowledge on Validation ( automated and manual) process and quality methodologies
- Working knowledge with various automated testing tools
- Certifications in the field of automation and manual testing
- Knowledge on system, integration, security, stress, load, user acceptance and other related test areas)
- Knowledge on test strategy, planning and management activities
- Knowledge in banking applications and practices
- Development experience in test scripts, execution and reporting
- Aptitude for learning new IT knowledge and troubleshooting techniques
- Capable of performing tasks in dynamic/changing situations and, under stress, optimizing availability of system services to users
- Technical minded
- Strong understanding of application development methodologies and approaches
- Strong and proven ability to render clear documentation and system specifications from interviews/discussions/workshops
- Proven leadership of technical and non-technical teams
- Requires exceptional collaborative, teaming and consensus building abilities, as well as proficiency in cross-discipline, cross-organization and cross-product group cooperation
