- Need to develop, implement, and optimize operational processes and procedures to enhance efficiency, productivity, and align with long-term planning and business development goals.
- Need to oversee and monitor daily operations to ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and regulatory requirements, including loading and unloading of containers, yard management, and equipment maintenance, while integrating planning for future growth and expansion.

- Collaborate with senior management to develop operational and business development strategies that align with the company’s overall objectives.

- Conduct regular assessments of operational processes to identify areas for improvement, implement best practices, and incorporate strategic planning for future growth.
- Oversee and coordinate special projects and initiatives that enhance operational efficiency, service delivery, and business development opportunities.
- Strong knowledge of operational processes, performance metrics, budget management, and business development planning to ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate operational and business development performance, driving accountability and planning for continued success.
- Prepare and present regular reports on operational performance to senior management, identifying trends, areas for improvement, and business growth opportunities.
- Collaborate with other departments (e.g., sales, finance, HR) to ensure alignment, support for operational goals, and integration of business development strategies.
- Recruit, train, and develop staff, fostering a culture of safety, teamwork, high performance, and strategic business development planning.
- Ensure that all operational processes comply with safety regulations, industry standards, and business growth objectives.
- Manage and lead terminal staff, providing training, guidance, and performance evaluations to support both operational and business development goals
- Implement and leverage operating systems (OS) and other technologies to enhance operational efficiency, data accuracy, and business scalability.
- Work closely with government agencies, customs officials, and other relevant stakeholders to ensure compliance, efficient operations, and support business development.
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Transportation, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, Six Sigma) is a plus.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in operations management, specifically in transportation logistics or container management, preferably in sea ports, dry ports or customs environment.
- Proven track record of overseeing large-scale logistics operations and managing cross-functional teams.
- Strong understanding of customs regulations, documentation processes, and compliance standards in container logistics.
- Proficiency in transportation management systems and logistics software
- Familiarity with data analysis tools and techniques for performance tracking and reporting
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels, including customs authorities and transportation providers. Languages Required: Arabic & English Reviewed:
