Junior Presales Engineer - SCADA

• Conducting presales activities with a focus on Substation and Grid Automation technologies.

• Providing innovative designs and recommending solution architectures.

• Meeting technical requirements outlined by customers effectively.

• Collaborating with suppliers to request pricing and strategically selecting the most competitive options.

• Demonstrating expertise in RTUs, SCADA, and Energy Management Systems.

• Engaging in continuous learning to stay ahead of emerging trends in Digital Energy.

• Design highly technical solutions for the entire integrated solution components. (H/W, S/W license, network, connectivity…etc)

• Identify the potential supplier(s) list for the provided solution(s).

• Prepare technical write-up and associated drawings that describe the solution and highlight the advantages of the proposed solution.

• Prepare Cost sheet and associated suppliers offers after comparing the offers and check for the best optimization.

• Lead customer meetings aimed to describe/discuss the proposed solution and highlight advantages over competitors.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Fluent command of English language

• Results-oriented with a strategic mindset.

• Ability to collaborate effectively with customers and suppliers.

• Technical Writing skills

• French is a plus.

• Proven (1-3) years of experience in presales & tendering activities.
• Proven (1-3) years of experience in experience in Substation Control & Protection or Substation Automation Systems SAS.
• Understanding the requirements of IEC61850, IEC60780-5-102, IEC60780-5-104
• Proficiency in designing and recommending solution architectures.
• Strong understanding of RTUs and SCADA software.
• knowledge of Grid Automation technologies is a plus.
• Knowledge of IIOT technologies is a plus.
