Jamjoom Pharma is seeking a detail-driven Cost Accountant to join our dynamic finance team in Cairo. If you're passionate about cost control, inventory valuation, and driving operational efficiency, this is your opportunity to make a measurable impact in a fast-paced pharmaceutical environment.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee and manage all aspects of cost accounting, including cost analysis, inventory valuation, and cost allocation.Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual cost accounting reports with precision and insight.Collaborate cross-functionally to implement cost control procedures and best practices.Conduct variance analysis between actual and standard costs, identifying root causes and recommending corrective actions.Support budgeting and forecasting activities with detailed cost projections and recommendations.Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and relevant accounting standards.Lead cost reduction initiatives and continuous improvement projects to enhance operational efficiency.Assist in financial audits and coordinate with external auditors as needed.Maintain accurate records of inventory, work-in-progress, and finished goods, ensuring proper valuation and reconciliation.Mentor junior accounting staff, fostering a culture of excellence and professional growth.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance or a related field (CMA)5+ years of experience in cost accounting, preferably within the pharmaceutical sector.Strong analytical skills and proficiency in ERP or SAP systems and Excel.Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.Why Jamjoom?Join a company that’s shaping the future of healthcare in the region.
