We are looking to hire an Arabic Chemistry Reviewer to join us in our mission of educating the world. The successful candidate shall be responsible for reviewing the Arabic translation of our physics content and be passionate about chemistry and have an eye for detail.
Responsibilities
- Checking and editing translated chemistry content to ensure that the correct terms and symbols are used.
- Ensuring that the translated content is true to the source.
- Ensuring that the translated text adheres to our in-house style.
- Setting up guidelines for the Arabic translation of chemistry content.
- Helping compile a library of reliable references and sources to be used by the team.
- Compiling terms and expressions related to chemistry into glossaries for future reference.
- Discussing pedagogical concepts/terminology with the translation and Arabic teams to produce content in the most accurate and clear form possible.
- Bachelor's degree in chemistry or a relative field
- Master's degree is a plus
- 1+ years of experience in a similar role or related
- Excellent command of both Arabic and English
- Excellent knowledge of chemistry terms and expressions in both Arabic and English
