We were founded in 2011 in Riyadh, KSA, as an app development company (previously Ibtikar technologies) successfully pivoted our model to support the growing need of startups and companies seeking to hire and manage their own engineering team remotely with engineers vetted by Squadio’s talent community.We are seeking an experienced and driven Product Manager specializing in Accounting Software Applications to join our dynamic team. As a Product Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the development and enhancement of our accounting software products, ensuring they meet the needs of our customers and align with our business objectives. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software engineers, designers, and sales, to deliver innovative and user-friendly accounting software solutions. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in accounting and finance, along with a proven track record of successfully managing software product lifecycles.RequirementsConduct market research and analysis to identify customer needs, market trends, and competitive landscape in the accounting software industry. * Define and prioritize product requirements based on customer feedback, market demands, and business goals.

Collaborate with stakeholders to create a comprehensive product roadmap, including feature prioritization, timelines, and resource allocation.
Work closely with software engineers, designers, and QA teams to translate product requirements into detailed specifications and user stories.
Lead the product development process, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality software releases.
Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) and gather user feedback to iterate and improve product features.
Monitor product usage, identify areas for improvement, and recommend enhancements or new features to drive customer satisfaction and retention.
Collaborate with the marketing and sales teams to develop go-to-market strategies, product positioning, and pricing strategies.
Provide product training and support to internal teams, including customer support and sales, to ensure a deep understanding of product features and benefits.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends, accounting regulations, and technological advancements to drive innovation and maintain a competitive edge.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Product Manager in the software industry, with a focus on accounting software applications.
Strong understanding of accounting principles and concepts, including financial statements, general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, and payroll.
Proven experience in managing the end-to-end product development lifecycle, from ideation to launch.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex requirements into actionable product plans.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Familiarity with agile development methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban.
Experience with product management tools, such as JIRA or Trello.
Knowledge of software development processes and technologies, including cloud-based solutions, APIs, and data integration.
Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
