BTECH is seeking a Financial Analyst to join their dynamic finance team. As a Financial Analyst at BTECH, you will analyze financial data, identify trends, and provide insights to support strategic decision-making. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the success of a leading omni-channel retailer in Egypt.In this role, you will work closely with the finance team to develop financial models, conduct financial research, and assist in budgeting and forecasting processes. You will also collaborate with other departments to evaluate cost-reduction strategies and revenue maximization opportunities. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented individual with strong analytical skills and a passion for driving business growth through financial analysis.Prepare budgets and forecastsDevelop, maintain, and update monthly budget and financial forecastsAnalyse variances between actual results and budgets/forecasts, providing insights into the drivers of performanceConduct financial analysisAnalyze financial data in depth, becoming a subject matter expert to identify trends, risks, and additional insightsCalculate and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial metricsDevelop and maintain financial modelsDevelop and maintain a financial model to support budgeting, forecasting, and decision-making, using inputs from various business functions (e.g., commercial)Support business decision-makingEvaluate the financial impact and sensitivity of various assumptions to support business decisions (e.g., pricing strategy, timing of cash disbursement)Monitor expensesMonitor and analyze company expenses, identifying opportunities for cost savings or process improvementsPrepare management reportsPrepare regular and ad-hoc financial reports for senior managementCommunicate financial performance and trends to non-financial stakeholders in a clear and understandable mannerIdentify and report funding needsIdentify and highlight funding needs based on budgets and forecastsSupport Investor Relations Manager in preparing equity storyRequirements

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
Credit course completed, with advanced degrees (FMVA, CFA) also being preferred
5+ years of experience in financial analysis, budgeting, or related roles
Experience developing and maintaining fully linked, 3-statement financial models in Microsoft Excel
Experience producing detailed financial reports, including all statements and relevant metrics
Experience working in lending (e.g., banking, consumer finance) is preferred
