Purpose:

Key Accountabilities:
  • Network Availability & Uptime Ensuring the network is operational with minimal downtime by performing regular maintenance, monitoring performance, and quickly resolving issues.
  • Security & Compliance Implementing firewalls, VPNs, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and access controls to safeguard against cyber threats while ensuring compliance with security policies and industry regulations (e.g., GDPR, ISO 27001).
  • Network Troubleshooting & Incident Resolution Diagnosing and resolving network-related issues, such as connectivity failures, bandwidth congestion, and hardware/software malfunctions, while maintaining detailed incident logs.
  • Infrastructure Management & Upgrades Configuring, maintaining, and upgrading network hardware (routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers) and software (firmware, network monitoring tools) to meet business needs.
  • User Support & Training Assisting employees with network-related issues, educating them on best practices, and providing guidance on secure network usage.
  • Documentation & Reporting Maintaining accurate network diagrams, configuration records, troubleshooting logs, and performance reports for audit, compliance, and future planning.
  • Vendor & Service Provider Coordination Managing relationships with ISPs, hardware/software vendors, and third-party service providers to ensure reliable network services and timely issue resolution.
  • Network Capacity Planning & Scalability Assessing current and future network demands, optimizing resources, and planning for infrastructure expansion to support business growth.
  • Policy Implementation & Enforcement Enforcing network usage policies, access controls, and security guidelines to maintain operational integrity and prevent unauthorized activities.

  • Educational Level Bachelors degree Information technology, computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
  • Language Skills Very good in English
  • Work Experience 5-7 Years 7-10 Years
  • Technical Knowledge Experience with computer networks, network administration, and network installation.
  • Proficient in computer hardware, cabling installation and support, wireless technology applications and interface, and IT security.
