We are looking for a Business Partner based in Cairo with a Bachelor's degree and at least 5-7 years of professional experience in finance / strategy / commercial planning role. Fluency in English and Arabic are required.
RISE TO THE CHALLENGE
Driving strategic alignment with PMI 6+6 strategies and enablers, OGSM and KPIs management, projects portfolio management as well as leveraging on the PMO / PBO as a governance platform and decision-making / resource allocation vehicle. With SFPs, this also means close collaboration and alignment with CPMs.
More specifically you will:
  • Effective scenario planning based on well-researched and fact-based economic, political and industry data and insights. Same applies to competitive intelligence from industry profitability analysis to portfolio / SOM strategies with a global, regional and market lens. Integrate these data points in business plans and propose / build strategies to address threats and or seize new opportunities.
  • Lead, advise and work closely with Commercial Team and enabling functions to prepare budget cycles, RF cycles and other key business plans.
  • Help design pricing plans to maximize operational revenues with a balanced portfolio and price gap management approach. Analyze and present relevant data to help pricing decisions, e.g. retail price evolution, trade margins, SOM, competitors' strategies and profitability, etc.
  • Developing a credible long-term growth algorithm via assessing the opportunity sizing / potential growth levers, whilst delivering on volume, topline, bottom-line expectations, and strategic fit.
  • Support EA on fiscal affairs, specifically government revenues analysis and corresponding excise tax scenario planning, including building financial and other argumentations to support company strategies.
  • Lead or support ad-hoc business cases / scenario planning for new business development opportunities such as new launches, new JV models, introduction of banded offers, etc.
  • Work in close, constructive cooperation with CCO heads and their respective teams (e.g. Commercial Operations, Marketing & Digital, and Consumer Experience), while bringing the finance perspective into discussions.
  • Responsible for all global and regional Business Planning requirements / submissions
1. Drive strategic alignment across the cluster with PMI 6+6 strategies and enablers through close guidance and collaboration with the management team and other key stakeholders at the regional and PMI level. Support translating these strategies into a cluster strategy paper / roadmap and importantly key programs and projects with clear scope, deliverables, and priorities.
2. Help build corresponding OGSM for MD, markets, and all key functions with corresponding KPIs and track progress.
3. In collaboration with project teams and management teams (as per projects), define project charters, milestones, investments / resources allocation, benefits, value realization plans and interdependencies.
4. Lead programs and projects' portfolio management and provide oversight, from aiding decisions on new projects' intake, prioritization, resource allocation, monitoring progress and reporting. With SFPs, this also means close collaboration and alignment with CPMs.
5. Collaborate closely with finance and project teams to define projects investments and resource requirements, understand / track financial benefits, ROI and to link into the budget / RF process.
6. Leverage on the PMO / PBO as a governance platform and decision-making / resource allocation vehicle for management. Support leadership of governance meetings to facilitate project initiation, status updates, rapid issue resolution and project closing.
7. Support project managers to use the correct project management methodologies and upskill team capabilities in project management through trainings and other coaching tools.Key Requirements:
1. University degree in Business / Finance; Masters in Business / Finance is a plus
2. Minimum working experience in finance / strategy / commercial planning of 5-7 years
3. Ability to think several steps ahead and anticipate potential challenges and opportunities, as well as develop a plan that aligns with PMI's overall goals.
4. Strategic reasoning and coinciding project management capability
5. Organized and methodical mindset, necessary for PBO implementation
6. Outstanding analytical skills and strong business acumen.
7. Effective time management to ensure productivity.
