Lead Network Engineer

• Designing and planning network communications systems.
• Providing specifications and detailed schematics for network architecture.
• Conducting cost/benefit analysis and offering specific detailed information for hardware and software selection, implementation techniques, and tools for the most efficient solution to meet business needs.
• Conducting testing of network design.
• Monitoring network hardware operations to ensure properly set configuration options.
• Planning implementation of enhancements and upgrades to the network.
• Advising network users on hardware requirements, configurations, and limitations.
• Maintaining technical expertise in all areas of network and computer hardware and software interconnection and interfacing, such as routers, multiplexers, firewalls, hubs, bridges, gateways, etc.
• Evaluating and reporting on new communications technologies to enhance the capabilities of the network.
• May be assigned responsibility for the management of the systems administration function, including associated staff.

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a similar field is preferred.
• 6 - 8 years of experience in IT Security Field
• Good command of both written and spoken English is a must.
