Almnabr is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Structural Engineer – Steel Design to join our team in Cairo, Egypt. This is a full-time position offering a unique opportunity to contribute to challenging and rewarding projects. As a Senior Structural Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the design and analysis of steel structures, ensuring compliance with international standards and best practices. You will collaborate with a team of talented engineers and contribute your expertise to a variety of projects.Responsibilities
  • Lead the design and analysis of complex steel structures for various building types.
  • Prepare detailed design calculations, drawings, and specifications.
  • Conduct site visits to assess existing conditions and oversee construction activities.
  • Collaborate with other engineering disciplines and architects to ensure integrated design solutions.
  • Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry standards and technologies.
  • Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Review and approve shop drawings and other construction documents.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from a reputable university.
  • Master's degree in Structural Engineering is preferred.
  • Proven experience of at least 8 years in steel structure design.
  • Strong understanding of structural analysis principles and software.
  • Proficiency in relevant design software (e.g., ETABS, SAP2000, Tekla Structures).
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
  • Chartered Engineer status or equivalent is desirable.
  • Experience working on international projects is advantageous.
