The Traffic Signal System Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, maintaining, and optimizing traffic signal control systems to ensure safe and efficient traffic flow. This role involves a combination of technical engineering, system diagnostics, compliance oversight, and stakeholder coordination. The engineer plays a key role in ensuring system reliability and performance while adhering to project and regulatory requirements

Design and develop traffic signal control systems including both hardware and software based on engineering and project specifications
Oversee the installation, programming, and field testing of traffic signal equipment to ensure functionality and compliance.
Conduct regular system maintenance, troubleshoot operational issues, and perform timely updates and repairs.
Coordinate with traffic authorities, project teams, and contractors to support the successful deployment and upgrading of signal systems.
Ensure compliance with local and international traffic safety regulations, engineering codes, and best practices.
Maintain detailed technical documentation including configurations, testing logs, and engineering reports.
Analyze traffic data to improve traffic flow and optimize signal performance.
Support planning, budgeting, and procurement of materials and equipment for signal system projects
