- Perform stock planning.
- Set replenishment policy.
- Build inventory data base (sufficient description and specifications)
- Supervise warehouse keepers ensuring implementation of cycle counts.
- Optimize existing stock, utilizing slow and non-moving items.
- Control and monitor new purchase requests.
- Prepare detailed reports on inventory operations and stock levels.
- Perform periodic analysis to predict any potential stock outs in coordination with SOP.
- Review current policy to spot enhancement as per current best practice.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.
- Proven experience 10 years, 3 years in inventory management or a related field, preferably in a manufacturing or retail environment.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and identify trends.
- Proficiency in inventory management software systems and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities with attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to train, motivate, and manage a team.
- Knowledge of inventory control techniques, such as ABC analysis, EOQ, and JIT principles.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations, distribution processes, and supply chain management concepts.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
