The company serves customers in North America, Europe, Asia Pacific and the Middle East.We are hiring a Senior IT Specialist who will play a crucial role in managing and enhancing the organization's IT infrastructure and operations. This role requires a strategic thinker with hands-on technical expertise, leadership skills, and experience managing cloud-based and on-premises systems. The successful candidate will co-lead a team of four IT specialists across different countries and locations, ensuring seamless IT support and service delivery while adhering to best practices for security, device management, and data protection.Key Responsibilities:
  • IT Infrastructure Management:
  • Oversee the configuration and maintenance of the company's Azure AD domain, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance.
  • Manage and utilize Microsoft Intune as the Mobile Device Management (MDM) solution, ensuring all devices (Windows, macOS, and mobile) comply with company policies.
  • Implement and manage Apple Business Manager to integrate Azure AD accounts for macOS devices and ensure a smooth login experience for users.
  • Collaborate with the IT team to deploy and maintain cloud and on-premises resources efficiently.
  • Manage and support Google Workspace, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems and optimal performance.
  • Provide expertise in managing and deploying Chromebooks within the organization.
  • Security and Compliance:
  • Leverage Microsoft Defender and E5 Security Suite features (e.g., Data Loss Prevention (DLP) and Microsoft Information Protection (MIP)) to safeguard organizational data.
  • Implement and monitor security policies across all devices, including mobile, desktop, and servers.
  • Continuously assess and improve security protocols to address evolving threats and vulnerabilities.
  • Team Leadership:
  • Co-lead and mentor a geographically dispersed team of four IT specialists, fostering collaboration and knowledge sharing.
  • Allocate tasks and responsibilities to ensure efficient workload management and alignment with organizational goals.
  • Provide training and guidance to team members on emerging technologies and best practices.
  • User Support and Communication:
  • Act as a senior point of escalation for technical issues faced by end-users.
  • Collaborate with different departments to align IT services with business needs.
  • Create and maintain documentation for IT processes, ensuring accessibility for team members and end-users.
  • Project Implementation:
  • Lead the implementation of new IT initiatives and projects, such as enhancing macOS integration with Azure AD and Intune.
  • Evaluate and deploy updates and upgrades to existing systems, ensuring minimal downtime and disruption.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and recommend technology improvements.
  • Purchasing and Asset Management:
  • Oversee the procurement of IT equipment, ensuring cost-effectiveness and alignment with organizational needs.
  • Manage IT asset inventory, ensuring accurate tracking and reporting of all hardware and software assets.
  • Implement and maintain asset management processes to ensure efficient utilization and lifecycle management of IT resources.
Qualifications and Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in IT operations, including cloud-based environments and device management.
  • Expertise in Microsoft 365 endpoint and security features and Azure AD (Entra ID).
  • Proven experience with macOS management, particularly integrating Apple devices with enterprise systems like Intune and Apple Business Manager.
  • Strong understanding of data protection and compliance standards.
  • Experience in managing geographically dispersed teams.
  • Experience with Google Workspace and Chromebook management.
Preferred:
  • Certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals, or equivalent.
  • Familiarity with Intune, MS Defender, SIEM solutions, SharePoint, and OneDrive configuration and troubleshooting.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
