We are leader on our businesses, and recognized as one of the largest global innovative companies.The Data Science is part of the Smart Shared Service Centre, which is the global technology development centre for Valeo Services. The data science team will support our product, sales, leadership and marketing teams with insights gained from analyzing company data. The ideal candidate is adept at using large data sets to find opportunities for product and process optimization and using models to test the effectiveness of different courses of action. They must have strong experience using a variety of data mining/data analysis methods, using a variety of data tools, building and implementing models, using/creating algorithms and creating/running simulations. They must have a proven ability to drive business results with their data-based insights. They must be comfortable working with a wide range of stakeholders and functional teams. The right candidate will have a passion for discovering solutions hidden in large data sets and working with stakeholders to improve business outcomes.Mine and analyze data from company databases and other sources to drive optimization and improvement of product development, marketing techniques and business strategies.Assess the effectiveness and accuracy of new data sources and data gathering techniques.Develop custom data models and algorithms to apply to data sets.Develop custom machine learning models and algorithms to apply to data setsDevelop and conduct data cleansing tasks, processes and tools to the data setsUse predictive modeling to increase and optimize customer experiences, revenue generation, ad targeting and other business outcomes.Develop processes and tools to monitor and analyze model performance and data accuracy.Responsible of delivering workable releases and packages based on agreed commitment and plans.Ensure the performances/quality of the product/application developedFollow Agile and Design Thinking methodologiesContribute to full collaboration between the project actors (UX design, UI design, management, marketing, communication…)Work with stakeholders throughout the organization to identify opportunities for leveraging company data to drive business solutions.Professional Experience:The candidates should have from 5 years of experience, with most of these qualities:Data-oriented personalityEager to research and learn in a self-directed way (always improving)Good communication skillsExcellent applied statistics skills, such as distributions, statistical testing, regression, etc.Technical Experience in Modelling, BI, big data and data mining is a plus.Discipline, methodological, transparent, empowerment and team playing is a core needed skills.Mastering with common data science toolkitsMastering with data visualisation toolsMastering using query languages such as SQLExperience with NoSQL databasesSkilled in scripting and programming skillsProficiency in machine learning techniques and algorithmsJob: R&D EngineerOrganization: Software DevelopmentSchedule: Full timeEmployee Status: RegularJob Type:Job Posting Date: 2024-02-22Join Us !
