
Transport & Customs Senior Specialist

- Contract management with suppliers.
- Provide technical specifications of flows/lanes to be addressed
- Implement change actions with operational teams
- Help to Identify and/or lead implementation of technical savings actions
- Identify ways for outbound lead time reduction through carriers, flows, processes
- Daily/weekly OTDT, OTDS-OTDC Gap follow up and communication with carriers (regular review with carriers)
- RCA analysis and action plan definition for service improvements
- Responsible to follow Transport CCL performance and drive improvement actions.
- Define and implement transport plans
- Manage & co-ordination of exception management – claims, late deliveries, back up plans, carrier escalations
- Analysis of lead times/ performance and improvement suggestions
- Preparing Documents (Delivery notes; packing lists; Country of origin; Certifications; Invoices) and co-ordinate delivery with Warehouse and Carriers
- Manage all direct communication with carriers & drivers (Scheduling, hazards, capacity alerts & volume forecasts, non-collected shipments etc.)
- Participate in daily Warehouse SIM2 and weekly SIM with Transport Manager in the Logistics Territory
- Manage the dangerous goods handling process (acceptable flow selection, documentation, training…)
- Organize customs clearance operation process, ensure the respect of customs regulations & drive security (in co-ordination with Warehouse)
- Education: Bachelor’s degree ins supply chain, Business Administration, or similar
- 4-7 years’ experience in similar field
- Excellent communication skills.
- Excellent English skills.
- Relevant knowledge in shipping, Import, and export formalities
- Preferable to have relevant certification in the field.
