- Maintains the network that connects all of Al Ahram Beverages Company (ABC) together and ABC to Heineken and handles data center maintenance (UPS, back-up systems, etc.)
- Handles the IT warehouse asset management.
- Manages IT Security of the network and system.
- Conducts daily stand-up meetings with the team to discuss and assign daily and weekly tasks.
- Checks the monitoring tool of the whole network for any issues to be resolved.
- Manages various cross-functional projects with the regional and central teams.
- Aligns business requirements with the manager of the D&T support team and maintains contact with them to resolve any delays or issues.
- Visits new sites to set up the network (cabling) and coordinates with third party suppliers to connect data centers together (configure routers, switches, etc.).
- Manages Local Area Network (LAN) and Wide Area Network (WAN) and data lines of the whole company.
- Handles services of GPS lines and manages security cameras at Drinkies retail stores.
- Manages server updates and any running business applications.
- Handles vulnerability management i.e. ensuring that all network assets are secure at all times.
- Develops the skills of the team through one-to-one meetings. Ensures that everyone is well aligned with the digital and technology strategy.
