  • Analyzing and troubleshooting the malfunction of running applications as a second level support
  • Investigating and handling customers reported Issues, Requests and Inquiries.
  • Reporting any production related issue to internal stakeholders.
  • Maintaining the availability of 24/7 production environments.
  • Installation and deployments of new releases/fixes of payment systems applications.
  • Handling the out of work hours calls and notifications related to production issues in addition to planned maintenance activities on production environments based on the predefined On Call Matrix.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science or a related discipline or 1-3 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong knowledge in querying databases (SQL).
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Good knowledge about client/server communication, API, Web services, and XML.
  • Experience working with UNIX/Linux operating system.
  • Experience in Shell scripting.
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
  • The ability to convey ideas to both technical and non-technical customers in a professional manner.
  • Sets an example of integrity, ethical behavior and professionalism.
  • Knowledge of one or more of ISO 8583, Financial Transactions Processing, Mobile Payment, and Instant Payment is a plus.
