Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for quality and a strong attention to detail, with experience in software testing and quality assurance methodologies. As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you will be responsible for designing and executing test plans, identifying and reporting defects, and ensuring the overall quality and reliability of our products and services.Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to validate software functionality and performance.
- Conduct manual and automated testing of web and mobile applications, APIs, and other software systems.
- Identify, isolate, and document defects and bugs, and track them through resolution.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that quality standards are met throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Participate in requirements analysis and design reviews to provide input on testability and quality considerations.
- Implement and maintain test environments and test data to support testing activities.
- Provide feedback and recommendations to improve product quality, usability, and user experience.
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices in software testing and quality assurance methodologies.RequirementsRequirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, (Master's degree preferred).
- Proven experience with minimum 5 years as a Quality Assurance Specialist or similar role.
- Strong understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices.
- Experience with manual and automated testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Appium, JUnit, TestNG).
- Proficiency in writing test cases, test scripts, and test plans.
- Experience with defect tracking and test management tools (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla, TestRail).
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
