& Modeling. You'll be responsible for analyzing data, creating reports, and developing data-driven insights to support business decision-making. You will work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver comprehensive reports and dashboards using various programming and data analysis techniques.Key ResponsibilitiesYou'll be working in a dynamic, rapidly evolving environment with the following responsibilities:
- Analyze customers and merchants financial data to derive actionable insights
- Develop reports and dashboards to support various reporting lines (external & internal reporting)
- Ensure the accuracy and consistency of data across multiple sources for reconciliation; identifying and resolving discrepancies, ensuring the integrity of data, and providing reliable insights to support decision-making processes
- Investigate and analyze the underlying causes of data discrepancies, collaborating with relevant stakeholders to resolve issues and prevent future occurrences.
- Engage in risk/finance analytics and ad-hoc inquiries
- Participate in designing and enhancing various risk/finance processes
- Develop and maintain provisioning models (IFRS-9)
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Economics, Statistics, or a related field.
- 2+ years of relevant experience at a bank or Fintech as Data Analyst or Risk Analyst is a huge advantage
- Strong analytical and data capabilities, backed up by technical coding skills.
- Proficiency in Excel and SQL. Knowledge of Python, or R is a plus.
- Strong understanding of statistical analysis and forecasting techniques.
- Basic understanding of IFRS9 credit risk modeling requirements and financial concepts
- Experience with visualization tools: i.e. Tableau, Power BI.
- Excellent command of English
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to effectively present complex data and findings in a clear and concise manner
