By providing tailored hubs to suit its clients needs, Octopus gives companies all the advantages of remote work and offshoring without all the negatives.Position OverviewWe are seeking a highly skilled Senior Full Stack Developer proficient in Java and Angular to join our dynamic team for a 6-month project, with the potential for extension. The successful candidate will work in a hybrid model from Cairo, collaborating closely with teams in France and Egypt. This position offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies and contribute to innovative projects.What you’ll be doing

Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable web applications using Java and Angular frameworks.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Implement front-end and back-end features, ensuring high performance, responsiveness, and security.
Conduct code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and mentor junior developers.
Work in an Agile environment, participating in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
Troubleshoot and debug complex issues, ensuring timely resolution.
Utilize DevOps practices and tools, particularly Google Cloud Platform, to optimize development workflows and deployment processes.
Continuously explore new technologies and best practices to enhance software development efficiency and quality.
Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide updates on project progress and address any concerns.
Adhere to coding standards, software development methodologies, and project deadlines.

RequirementsWhat we need from you

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer with expertise in Java and Angular frameworks.
Strong understanding of software development principles, design patterns, and best practices.
Experience working in a hybrid model, collaborating with international teams.
Experience with DevOps practices, particularly in Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Certification in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) is a significant advantage.
Proficiency in modern front-end technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and database management systems.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
Fluent in English, both written and verbal.
