- Develop and implement sourcing strategies for oil lubricants in KSA, in line with company objectives and budgetary requirements.
- Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiate contracts, and manage relationships with key suppliers to ensure competitive pricing and quality products.
- Monitor market trends and pricing fluctuations to identify potential cost-saving opportunities and mitigate any potential supply chain risks.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their lubricant requirements and ensure timely delivery of products.
- Conduct regular reviews and audits of supplier performance to ensure compliance with contracts and quality standards.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors, and actively seek out new partnerships to expand our supplier network.
- Stay updated on industry developments and changes in regulations related to oil lubricants procurement in KSA. (operating from Cairo office)
- Manage the procurement budget and ensure cost savings targets are met.
- Provide regular reports and updates on procurement activities to senior management.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in procurement, specifically in the oil and gas industry.
- Proven track record of successfully managing procurement categories, preferably in oil lubricants.
- In-depth knowledge of procurement processes, supplier management, and contract negotiations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and procurement software.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
