Run what runs the world.This Position reports to: Regional Partner Business Director - MEAYour role and responsibilitiesIn this role, you will have the opportunity to develop and maintain a highly effective sales channel strategy for a specified market (regional) to improve ABB’s market penetration and achieve its growth aspirations. Each day, you will plan and ensure the execution of the business area/division sales strategy to achieve both qualitative and quantitative targets for the assigned channel in a profitable way with a focus on orders, revenues, growth, margin, margin, margin, market share, sales productivity, and customer satisfaction. You will also showcase your expertise by leading, developing, and coaching the related Channel Sales organization.The work model for the role is: {onsite/hybrid} {insert Linkedin #}This role is contributing to the {Global Partner Business/Process Automation/Sales} in {Cairo, Egypt}.You will be mainly accountable for:Channel Strategy & Performance Management: Implement and drive the regional channel sales strategy to improve ABB’s market penetration and growth. Conduct annual performance assessments and forecasting for partners. Achieve key targets (volume, prices, mix), report progress against plans and budgets, and analyze channel activity to solve problems.Partner Identification & Relationship Building: Identify, evaluate, and appoint channel partners per ABB standards (including digital and excitation), in collaboration with the Sales Director. Implement ABB global Partner Program policies and standards (e.g., due diligence, segmentation, cybersecurity). Build strategic partnerships and strong relationships with partners, customers, and decision-makers.Sales Contribution & Negotiation: Independently contribute to sales negotiations and frame agreements. Collaborate with Marketing and Sales teams to execute activities involving channel/segment partners.Communication, Promotion & Training: Ensure appropriate communication, promotion, and training activities for channel partners. Implement planned activities in the channel/segment to support engagement and performance.Our team dynamicsYou will join a high performing team, where you will be able to thriveQualifications for the roleProven experience in channel management and driving channel sales for Process Automation & Digital products is a must-have.{5-7} years of relevant experience of managing Channel Partners / System Integrators for Automation & Digital solutions.Possess an enhanced knowledge of using CRM (preferably Salesforce) and other Sales forecasting and reporting tools.You are passionate about Sales & business development in new territories from grass root level.Engineering degree along with extensive process automation experience.Excellent communication skills with various levels in the organization internally and cross functionally.What's in it for you?
