About the Job:
  • Understand the financial impact of the commercial decisions: Customer P&L, RGM KPIs, Promo ROI.
  • Participate in the preparation of the BU Commercial planning and budgeting processes.
  • Cooperate within the Commercial finance team across all functions to achieve and maintain the excellence and success of the whole team.
Key Accountabilities:
  • Primary Finance support to BU Sales Manager and the direct reports.
  • Performs Customer/ Channel P&L /Promo ROI reporting and reviews.
  • Close weekly monitoring on commercial performance in terms of profitability and KPIs.
  • Recommends scenario of Customer/ Channel P&L improvements.
  • Provide clear actions to commercial business partners to reach profitability targets.
  • Reviews and approves the commercial contracts (T&C's)
  • Provides input to the Legal actions' preparation.
  • large risk over dues follow up/ settlement agreements.
  • Performs financial analysis and appraisal of customer and channel profitability.
  • Detail NSR channel planning input to Revenue Mgmt.
  • Marketing Planning for promo discount (TPM related)
  • Coordinates the period end Listing fee verification (input to BSO),
  • Period end Customer specific - Discounts and DME contribution and discounts allocation for Customer P&L's (as part of OPEX allocation).

  • Qualified/Part-qualified Accountant (ACCA/CIMA/ACA/CPA or equivalent)
  • 3-4years of experience in the same field.
  • Understanding and interpretation of how volume & mix drive profitability, including risk & opportunity analysis.
  • Stakeholder management, focused on Commercial function (incl. knowledge of relevant commercial finance processes)
  • Solid understanding of FMCG Commercial requirements
  • Ability to translate Volume/Discounts/Mix/DME impact on the business.
  • Deep understanding & knowledge of how RGM and Wholesaler/ Brand partnerships drive profitability.
  • Good understanding about RTM initiatives; customers' accounts value chain, customers/channels P&L; Promo ROIC & Discounts productivity; SKU profitability, Receivables and Credit control cycles
  • Group policies & guidelines (e.g., revenue recognition)
  • Very good in financial planning/ variance analysis / financial simulation
  • Understanding of the Commercial OPEX and Receivables
