
Legal Officer - (Commercial) UAE Back office -GCC Experience

- Law degree from an accredited institution; advanced degree or bar qualification in a Gulf country is a plus
- Minimum of 8 years of legal experience, with at least 5 years working in the Gulf region (UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Qatar)
- In-depth knowledge of laws and regulations in Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Riyadh, and Doha
- Excellent command of English; proficiency in Arabic is highly desirable
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently in a remote setting.
- Legal Expertise: Comprehensive understanding of Gulf region legal systems and practices
- Cultural Sensitivity: Ability to navigate cultural nuances in business and legal contexts across different Gulf countries
- Remote Work Proficiency: Demonstrated capability to manage legal affairs effectively in a remote setting
- Adaptability: Flexibility to handle diverse legal issues across multiple jurisdictions
- Technological Aptitude: Proficiency in using digital tools for legal research, document management, and remote collaboration
- Strategic Thinking: Ability to align legal strategies with business objectives across different markets
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a multicultural, remote environment.
- Experience in technology or IT services industry is preferred.
- Willingness to work flexible hours to accommodate different time zones.
- Strong digital literacy and familiarity with remote collaboration tools.
- Ability to travel to KSA, UAE and/or Qatar when required.
