- The Senior Art Director in marketing and communications is to lead the visual direction and creative execution of marketing campaigns and projects. They are responsible for conceptualizing and developing innovative design concepts that align with brand strategies and objectives. Additionally, Senior Art Directors oversee a team of designers and artists, providing direction, guidance, and feedback to ensure high-quality and cohesive visual content. They collaborate closely with copywriters, marketing managers, and other stakeholders to translate marketing briefs into compelling visual stories across various channels, including print, digital, and social media.
- Execution requirements across visual design, art direction, copywriting, brand positioning, and other disciplines
- Conceptualize and develop big creative ideas that promote the brand from an always on perspective and push tactical offers during seasonal campaigns.
- Develop weekly/monthly storyboards that integrate key photography and videography with well-designed layouts and typography to inspire the juniors to develop the companies social calendar, blog and email communications
- Develop and implement Group's creative strategy
- Generate clear ideas and concepts in line with the brand and campaign requirements.
- Produce concepts, sketches, key visuals, storyboards for campaign Ideation
- Develop visual and conduct experiments for both traditional and digital marketing channels
- Take brand ownership and streamline brand identity implementation across all markets.
- Manage the full campaign development process from concept to final execution within deadlines
- Manage and delegate responsibilities to other designers and provide directions
- Manage the Company's visual brand assets, subscriptions, licenses
- Manage brand photoshoots and video shoots
- Present completed ideas to the management and marketing team
- Stay on top of all trends and maintain best practices to keep the brand relevant in the industry from a visual perspective.
