Assists in software development, HW documentation to meet requirements of the application specifications. Participates in the internal testing to the agreed procedures. Provide the application design for customer. May prepare complex and/or new solutions. Provide Technical expertise.Key responsibilities / activities:· Develops professional expertise and proficiency with tools, systems, and procedures required to accomplish the job.· Applies company policies and procedures to resolve a variety of issues.· Knowledgeable in one or more industries.· Interprets customer technical specifications and generates strategies for implementation in production. Ensure technical compliance to customers’ specification relating to assigned areas of work.· All aspects of application engineering, including and not limited to: System specification, design, implementation, configuration for Invensys product and 3rd party supply. Develops the software and all necessary documentation to meet requirements of the application specifications.· Assists with on-site engineering, start-up, and application commissioning (Remotely/ Locally, FAT or on site).· Participates in customer acceptance tests.· Assists in producing engineering estimates on low/medium risk potential projects.· Provides Customer training.· Participates in developing others.· Aligns with Company rules and procedures.QualificationsQualifications - External· Bachelor's Degree in Power, Mechanical, OR Communication Engineering.· Fluent communication in English.· Minimum of 5+ years of relevant experience in the automation field (experience in DCS-FOXBORO, SCADA, or Safety PLCs)· Ability to work independently without supervision.· Fluency in English language is mandatory.· Understanding of complex system and interdependencies of equipment from different area of expertise.· Strong knowledge of customer process with ability to identify and propose nonobvious process improvement.· Ability to write & modify procedures to fit customer needs & process.· Understands the operation and application of devices and systems based on data provided by manufacturers.· Able to develop and manage a complete process improvement plan.· Proactively communicates codes and standards across the organization.· Knowledge and understanding of key market segments and customer application needed and ability to convert them into functional and technical.
