  • You'll coordinate internally to verify building readiness for installation through site surveys and inspections.
  • Supervise and lead your team on-site during the installation of cables, MV GIS cable terminations, power supply equipment (including 110VDC battery backup systems), SCADA, MV equipment, and 220kV equipment, ensuring compliance with contract and design documents.
  • Monitor installation progress, follow up on reports and field instructions, and proactively address any deviations.
  • You'll inspect materials, verify quantities, and report any damages while ensuring corrective actions are taken.
  • Document and report site status, providing input for As-Built drawings and reviewing installation red-mark drawings for accuracy.
  • You'll prepare and update the installation schedule, ensuring alignment with overall project timelines.
  • Ensure strict adherence to technical specifications and liaise with owners, inspectors, and representatives to maintain compliance.
  • You'll review and implement method statements, verify EHS documentation, and actively participate in toolbox talks.
  • Enforce Siemens' Environment, Health, and Safety policies throughout execution.
  • You'll participate in commissioning tasks and acceptance tests to validate system performance.
  • Be primarily based on-site along the e-HSR project, ensuring seamless execution and coordination.
What do I need to qualify for this job?
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or any equivalent degree.
  • 5-7 years of experience in a similar role
  • English Fluency is a must
  • Experienced in installations and commissioning of: AC/DC systems, generator, SCADA, 220kV AIS & 220kV & 25kV transformers and MV GIS, valid Certification on GIS and AIS HV Switchgear as well as SF6 handling Certificate (SIEMENS 8DA11/12 and SIEMENS 220kV HV AIS SWGR) are a must.
  • Familiar with siemens software (DIGSI 5, SICAM A8000, TIA Portal) is an advantage
  • Experience with HV/MV distribution networks and familiar with local electrical distribution company procedures.
  • Dealt with governmental public sector companies.
  • EHS Certificates like OHSAS, NFPA 70, Electric Code, Lockout - Tag out procedures, Safe Lifting are preferred.
  • Valid driving license and able to work in a dynamic environment and in several site locations with the willingness to travel.
