• Manage safety systems and processes.

• Follow up on technical objectives related to the quality and efficiency of the maintenance activities
• Make and follow up annual maintenance plan.
• Conduct investigations into failures and ensure implementation of recommendations.
• Review and approve technical documentation (Operating mods, chick lists, technical proposals).
• Manage staff and maintenance of the transit systems with respect to safety, quality, and technical issues.
• Ensure all environmental and safety rules are respected and alert Executive Maintenance of any environmental or safety issue.
• Ensure maintenance plan is executed effectively and equipment is running as required. Adhere to continuous improvement principles.
• Ensure minimum levels of equipment downtime including timely and effective response to breakdowns.
• Ensure that all agreed routine plant checks and testing are carried out to the specified frequencies and in accordance with the maintenance plan.
• Analyze and rectify equipment defects in a timely manner to avoid downtimes.
• Conduct analysis on obsolescence treatment and propose renewal.

• Interviewing and selecting technical candidates for the open vacancies in the department.

• At least 7 years’ relevant experience in infrastructure maintenance environment.
• Rail or Metro Experience is plus.
• Fluent in Arabic & English Language.
